2021 IEEE Malaysia Section FYP Competition

The 2021 Edition
Dear IEEE Members, Students, Final Year Project Supervisors,
IEEE Malaysia Section (Student Activities Committee) invites all 2021 final year students to participate in 2021 IEEE Malaysia Final Year Project (FYP) Competition.
It is open to all undergraduate students who are currently undertaking their Final Year Project or have recently (in 2021) completed their studies. Students must be a student in any Malaysian Institution of Higher Learning (Government & Private). Both IEEE student members and non-members could participate.

Certificate of participation from IEEE Malaysia will be given to all participants.
Track for Submission
Students can submit their Final Year Project in one of the following tracks

Rules & Regulations
- Open for all undergraduate students (IEEE Member and Non-Member) who have just completed or is currently doing their Final Year Project (FYP) in Year 2021.
- Individual projects and group projects are accepted.
- The submitted Final Year Project must be the student’s own project work NOT the work of others.
- Participants are advised to submit to One (1) track, but they are allowed to submit to a maximum of Two (2) Tracks only.
- You are to strictly follow the provided template. Please read the instructions in the template and do not add your university logo nor remove IEEE logo. Failing to do so, will result a disqualifying from the award.
- If the project has more than one (1) member, you are allowed to change the font sizes and pictures accordingly to best fit.

Poster (A1 size) and abstract (one-page) must be saved in PDF format. The naming convention is as follows:
- Poster Filename: IEEEFYP2021_poster_<track number>_your_full_name
- Abstract Filename: IEEEFYP2021_abstract_<track number>_your_full_name
Example:
- Poster: IEEEFYP2021_poster_Track8_Firstname_Surname
- Abstract: IEEEFYP2021_abstract_Track8_Firstname_Surname
Important Notes
This competition is FREE OF CHARGE (FOC). You do not need to pay any fees to participate.
We advise the participant to consult with your supervisor on the most suitable track you should go for.
Please refrain from email us to request for a suitable track for your project, because we cannot help the participants to decide.
If you are submitting using your university Gmail account, you may not be able to access since you need to upload files. This is for security reasons by your university. Please use your personal account to submit.
