DescriptionA fully-funded PostDoc/Ph.D/Master research is now available through the recent grant awarded to the Universiti Tenaga Nasional. We propose to perform cutting edge research in thin film solar photovoltaic development. This exciting multi-disciplinary approach is poised for rapid implementation in integrated form, helping to enhance Malaysia’s position at the forefront of Solar technology advancement.
Project Description:
We are looking for highly motivated researchers (PostDoc/Ph.D/Master) who are interested in performing research in solar photovoltaic, with a particular focus on CuInGaSe2 (CIGS) thin film solar cell. Candidate research areas and responsibility includes:
• CIGS solar cell device development
• CIGS solar cell process development & fabrication
• Team leader assignment & cross-functional responsibilities
• Market development work
• Operational set-up and executions
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with a minimum 3.0 CGPA, or
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with a minimum 2.75 CGPA and One (1) year Experience with 2 publications journal or proceeding, or
• MSc degree in engineering or related field
• Strong interest in semiconductor materials and solar cell
• Any experience in semiconductor materials simulation and fabrication will be an advantage
• Proactive and able to carry our research independently
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Priority will be given to Malaysian citizen (non-Malaysian are welcomed to apply)
• To register as PostDoc/Ph.D or Master Student in UNITEN.
• Start date: 1 September 2017
