DescriptionThis project will propose Electroencephalogram (EEG) based hearing detection technique to identify children with hearing disorder using the hybrid technology. The main supervisor will be appointed from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). However, the co-supervisor will be from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Thus, the student will have an opportunity to experience doing research and use facilities in both universities. The selected topic will also be the students’ dissertation or thesis topic.
Full or partial fixed monthly allowance may be available for qualified candidates (subject to approval).
Requirements and desirable skills:
At least CGPA > 3.0 of BSc/BEng degree or Msc/MEng degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or any related discipline.
Candidates with strong programming skills and with mixed methods (qualitative
and quantitative) research skills and expertise would be at an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication in English is a must.
