IEEE International Conference on Sensors and Nanotechnology (SENNANO) 2021

Event Description

The IEEE Sensors and Nanotechnology Joint Councils Chapter is organizing the second series of the IEEE International Conference on Sensors and Nanotechnology (SENNANO), our chapter’s flagship conference.

IEEE International Conference on Sensors and Nanotechnology (SENNANO) provides a forum for local and international researchers and engineers from academia and industry to present and discuss the latest technological advances and research results in the fields of sensors and nanotechnology. Do not miss the opportunity to get an insight into all the latest researches and developments in sensors and nanotechnology from the keynote speeches, invited speakers, and oral presentations. In our inaugural conference held in Pulau Pinang back in 2019, 70 papers from various parts of the world were presented and later published in the Scopus-indexed IEEE Explore. The conference welcomed participants from over 25 different countries including Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Poland, Czech Republic and more. A similar scenario is anticipated for this year with the conference being planned in hybrid mode.

The physical mode of IEEE SENNANO 2021 (https://sensors-nano.ieeemy.org/conference/) will be held on 22-24 September 2021 in Port Dickson, Malaysia, subject to the COVID-19 situation and strict SOP adherence.

The platform used for the virtual mode of the conference will be announced later.

The scope of the conference includes:

Sensors:

  • Sensor materials and architecture
  • Emerging sensor technologies and machine learning
  • Energy, environment and green technology
  • Internet of Things (IoT), wireless sensor networks, architecture and applications

Nanotechnology:

  • Material and devices
  • Properties, fabrication, and applications of interesting nano-materials
  • Special applications of nanotechnology
  • Nanofabrication, nanostructures and nano-systems

Papers will be accepted only by electronic submission through the EDAS system (submission link https://edas.info/N27865). Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of no more than six (6) pages in standard IEEE double-column format (refer to the website for templates). Please adhere to the following deadlines to ensure that the processing, reviewing, notifications, etc. could be done in a timely manner:

Full-paper submission :                      31 March 2021
Notification of paper acceptance :      31 May 2021
Final paper submission :                    30 June 2021

Early bird registration starts:               1 June 2021

Normal Registration:                           9 August 2021
