Biography
Dr. Bong Fwee Leong, a highly accomplished engineer and researcher, has had a diverse career spanning various industries. With expertise in RF technology and RFID systems, he has made significant contributions to the design and development of innovative RFID tag antennas. Dr. Bong’s research has been published in prestigious international journals, and he has also served as a peer reviewer. Additionally, he has gained extensive industry experience in companies like Inventec, Agilent Technologies, and Smartrac, where he played a crucial role in designing and releasing numerous RFID tags. Driven by a passion for knowledge sharing, he briefly entered the teaching profession before joining HID Global as an RFID consultant and eventually becoming the Training and Metrology Manager. In this talk, Dr. Bong will cover a simplified and efficient approach to designing UHF RFID tags with broad applicability. This includes streamlining the design process, making it accessible and time-effective for practitioners in the field.
