We are pleased to inform you that the 22nd Annual General Meeting of IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter is as scheduled below. You are cordially invited to attend the AGM and 50% cashback will be reimbursed for 2021 ComSoc or VTS membership fee (subject to T&C).

DATE: February 6, 2020 (Saturday)

TIME: 9.00 AM- 10:30 AM

Meeting platform: Online via Google Meet

Meeting link: Will be emailed to all ComVT active members.

Important: Please renew your IEEE and Comsoc/VTS membership for 2021 before the meeting. Proof of ACTIVE membership is needed.

AGENDA:

  1. Opening address by 2020 Chapter Chair
  2. Review the meeting minutes of the 21th AGM
  3. 2020 Chapter activities report by Chair
  4. 2020 Chapter account report by Treasurer
  5. ComSoc/VTS Award presentation: Best Paper Award, Outstanding Dissertation Award, and Best Social Activity Award
  6. Dissolution of 2020 Committee
  7. Election of 2021 Committee and auditors
  8. Address by the 2021 Chapter Chair
  9. Any other business

Nomination and Election Process:

Dear respected members of the IEEE COMVT Malaysia,

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IEEE ComVT Malaysia will be held on 6th February, 2021. And this year, we will have an election for the new executive committee (ExCom) at this coming AGM.

We are now inviting nominations for the following positions;

1. Chair

  1. Vice-Chair
    2. Secretary
    3. Treasurer
    4. Four (4) Committee Members
    5. Two (2) Auditors

    Nomination and Election Process:

    a. A Proposer can nominate a candidate for any of the above positions.
    b. One Seconder is needed to support the nomination,
    c. The Nominees, will be notified by the ComVT election committee, and shall endorse the respective nomination, on whether or not they agree to be nominated,
    d. All nominations shall be submitted no later than 23:59 on 1stFebruary 2021
    e. The election shall be conducted as per the AGM agenda virtually.

    Note: By completing and submitting this form, you agree that the Candidate(nominee), Proposer (nominator) and Seconder all have active IEEE ComVT memberships for 2021.
