5G EMF MEASUREMENTS: THE PREREQUISITE TO DEPLOY 5G
IEEE Communications Society and Vehicular Technology Society Joint Chapter is pleased to invite you to join our webinar:
Title: 5G EMF MEASUREMENTS: THE PREREQUISITE TO DEPLOY 5G
Date: 28 October 2020
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Regional Senior Engineer (Systems & Applications)
To achieve the required throughput, coverage and reliability for new use cases, 5G makes extensive use of beamforming and frequencies above 3 GHz. However, these same technologies have raised concerns among citizens and government organisations about the effect of electromagnetic radiation on human health. Deployment is delayed in some countries until it is proven that the maximum radiation is below a certain country-specific threshold, making it essential to measure the electromagnetic field strength (EMF). This webinar compares two competing measurement techniques for EMF measurements, discusses their pros and cons and provides example measurements from the field.
