2021 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON)

Event Description

The 2021 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON 2021) will be held at KSL Resort (Johor Bahru) on 25th-26th October 2021. The conference’s objective is to share the latest research in the area of power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy, modelling and control systems and at the same to discover Malaysia, particularly Johor Bahru.

CENCON 2021 is organised and sponsored by the IEEE Power Electronics (PEL) Malaysia Chapter, co-organised by Power Electronics and Drives Research Group (PEDG), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and technical co-sponsored by The Korean Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE).

The conference program features technical paper presentation and a specialised exhibition. Papers that are accepted and presented at the Conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library – ISBN 978-1-5090-2948-8 (subject to the approval of the IEEE Technical Program Committee) and hence indexed in SCOPUS.

** We are glad to inform you that the previous CENCON, for 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019 conference proceedings had already been included in the IEEEXplore digital library and indexed by SCOPUS.

The CENCON2021 is now accepting technical papers until 7th July 2021.

Authors are invited to submit full papers describing original research. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to the following conference tracks:

-Topology of power converters

-Control of power converters

-Multilevel inverters

-Electrical machines and drives

-Renewable Energy Systems

-Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles

-Power Electronic Applications in Power System

-Power Engineering Systems

-Energy Storage

-Application of power electronic in High Voltage Engineering

-Smart grid and its application

-Power Quality issues

-Education in power electronic

-High Voltage and Electrical Insulation Engineering

If accepted, your paper may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library once they meet the requirements of an IEEE quality review. IEEE reserves the right not to publish any proceedings not meeting these standards.
