2021 AGM for the IEEE WIE Affinity Group

We are pleased to inform you that the 2021 AGM for the IEEE WIE Affinity Group Malaysia Section will be held as follows:

Date: 5th February 2021 (Friday)

Time: 2.30 pm

Meeting platform: Online via Microsoft Office Teams (MS Teams) meeting.

Meeting link: Will be emailed to all WIE active members.

The IEEE WIE AGM Agenda:

  1. Welcoming address
  2.   To accept the minutes of the 12th Annual General Meeting
  3.    To receive the WIE AG Report for 2020 Session
    4.    To receive the Treasurer’s Report and Accounts for 2020 Session
    5.    Dissolution of Committee for 2020 Session
    6.    Election of Committee for 2021 Session
  4.   Address by the 2021 Chapter Chair
  5.   Any other business

Important: Please renew your IEEE and WIE membership for 2021 before the meeting.

Nomination and Election Process:

  1. a)Nominations shall be made online through the following link:

  1. b)A Proposer can nominate a candidate for any of the above positions
  2. c)One Seconder is needed to support the nomination
  3. d)The Nominees will be notified by the WIE election committee and shall endorse the respective nomination, on whether or not they agree to be nominated
  4. e)All nominations shall be submitted no later than 23:59 on 22nd January 2021
  5. f)The election shall be conducted as per the AGM agenda virtually.

Note: By completing and submitting this form, you agree that the Candidate (nominee), Proposer (nominator), and Seconder all have active IEEE Women in Engineering memberships for 2021.
