Congratulations! Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Activities Award 2020 & IEEE Regional Exemplary Student Branch Award 2020 in Malaysia

Please join me to congratulate our Section Student Representative, Mohammed Hussein Saleh Mohammed Haram for the Honorable Mention by IEEE R10 for the IEEE Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Activities Award 2020 which is meant to recognize, annually, in each Region of the IEEE, the Student member most responsible for an extraordinary accomplishment associated with Student Activities. Congratulations Mohammed!

In addition, this year Malaysia section is outstanding in the award category under IEEE Regional Exemplary Student Branch Award 2020 in Malaysia. This year a new record has been created for the number of Student Branches winning such an award in the section. The award was created to provide public recognition of exemplary IEEE Student Branch operations. It is given to Student Branches that have demonstrated a high level of professionalism and abidance to IEEE bylaws with active program, support IEEE goals and strive to meet the scientific, educational, and professional purposes of IEEE.

For your information, IEEE Malaysia Section is the highest section in terms of number of winning SBs in IEEE R10 and second highest worldwide!
