Call for nomination for 2021 IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter Awards

In conjunction with the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) which will be organized by MTSFB, IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter, and TSDSI on 17 May 2022,  the IEEE Malaysia Communications Society and Vehicular Technology Society (ComSoc/VTS) Joint Chapter is pleased to announce THREE (3) awards that are still open for nomination, and invites nominations for:

·       IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter Outstanding Dissertation Award for Master Thesis

.     IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter Best Volunteer Award (Industry)

·       IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter Best Volunteer Award (Academic)

Important Dates

Submission deadline: 11:59pm (GMT+8) May 14, 2022

Notification of award: May 16, 2022

Award presentation: At World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) event in Cyberjaya on May 17, 2022

Eligibility, Submission Procedure and Selection Process

The submission of nomination requires the nominator to fill in the online nomination form that can be found below. Information regarding eligibility and selection process can also be found in the following google forms.

i. IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter Outstanding Dissertation Award for Master Thesis

ii. IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter Best Volunteer Award (Industry)

iii. IEEE Malaysia ComSoc/VTS Joint Chapter Best Volunteer Award (Academic)

Prize

Plaque, certificate and fees coverage of new or renewed memberships for 2022 for either ComSoc or VTS.
