|Description||In this research study, we will focus on 3 main objectives in order to achieve the outstanding massive MIMO system. The first objective is to establish the feasibility of improving Efficiency (SE) by using scheduled reuse pilots with coherence frame length in the multi-cell 5G networks. The second objective is to analyze the optimal Energy Efficiency achieving high spatial multiplexing gain at different pilot reuse factors, power allocation and consumption power using active interference suppression under perfect channels. The last objective is to enhance the optimal achievable sum rate by simulating the antenna arrays with hundreds or thousands of active users at the BS and coherent transceiver processing with proportional frame length symbol and suppressed strong interference. The compilation of those algorithms/methods will be the key achieve the final goal which is the novel algorithm/method for optimal SE and EE of massive MIMO system in the 5G cellular application.
A PhD/Master candidate needs to have basic knowledge on MIMO system design and channel modeling. The PhD/Master candidate needs to have good programming skills using Matlab.
