2016 International Conference on Robotics, Automation and Sciences (ICORAS 2016)

The conference will be held in Melaka, Malaysia during November 5-6, 2016. The main objective of ICORAS 2016 is to present the latest research and results of scientists related to Robotics Automation Sciences topics. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates from different areas to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. We hope that the conference results will constitute significant contribution to the knowledge in this up-to-date scientific field.

ICORAS 2016 is supposed to be the largest technical event on Robotics Automation Sciences in Melaka in year 2016. It is organised by Multimedia University, Malaysia, and getting technical co-sponsorship from IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Malaysia. The focus of the conference is to establish an effective platform for institutions and industries to share ideas and to present the works of scientists, engineers, educators and students from all over the world. For this conference, we are great to have Prof. Laszlo Koczy from Hungary as our keynote speaker.

His research interests are fuzzy systems, evolutionary algorithms and neural networks as well as applications. He has published over 580 articles, most of those being refereed papers, and several text books on the subject. He has close to 2600 independent citations and his Hirsch-index is 34 by Google Scholar (based on ~4500 citations there).

His main findings are: the concept of rule interpolation in sparse fuzzy models, hierarchical interpolative fuzzy systems, fuzzy Hough transform, and also fuzzy signatures and fuzzy situational maps, further fuzzy signature state machines among others. His research interests include applications of CI for telecommunication, transportation and logistics, vehicles and mobile robots, control, information retrieval and others.
