We are currently seeking a potential candidate to fill-up 2 Full-Time M.Sc and Ph.D. research positions in digital circuit and system architectures design for signal processing. The circuits are targeted to be used in a smart device embedded in portable biomedical application.
The candidate will be responsible in developing and implementing dedicated signal processing algorithm using MATLAB/C-Programming. The algorithm will further be evaluated to measure their performance and efficient hardware implementation on FPGA as well as silicon chip.
The candidate must have a good knowledge on digital design and implementation. Knowledge in similar area such as digital design, computer architecture, microprocessor and electronics are welcome. Exposure in integrated circuit (IC) design, logic synthesis and physical synthesis is an added advantage. The candidates will be funded by Research Grant up to RM2500 per month (subject to terms and conditions) for a period of 2 years.
Any candidate must have a good English (speaking and writing) and able to work with minimum supervision. Minimum CGPA of 3.3 (or equivalent) for fresh graduates or a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (or equivalent) for candidates with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
