Distinguish Lecturer Program by Prof. Bernard de Baets, Ghent University, Belgium – 26th January 2015

Prof. de Baets conducted the DLP with titled “Cyclic Phenomena in Nature“ on the 26th January 2015 at University of Malaya. It was attended by 18 persons in total. It was an honour for CIS-MY as Prof. de Baets last visit to Malaysia was almost 10 years ago.

Distinguish Lecturer Program by Prof. Laszlo Kozcy, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary – 05th June 2015

Prof. Koczy conducted the DLP with titled “Fuzzy Cognitive Maps“ on the 05th June 2015 at University of Malaya, and 24 persons in total attended the DLP. This was the second time Prof. Kozcy came to Malaysia to conduct the DLP for CIS-MY.

Final Year Project Competitions

CIS-MY, for the first time, is going to participate in the 2015 IEEE Malaysia Final Year Project (FYP) Competition. The track is “Track 10 – Computational Intelligence”. We encourage the participation of all undergraduates students who just completed or currently doing their FYP in any Malaysian universities/institutions, using the computational intelligence technologies, such as, but not limited to neural networks, fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, autonomous mental development, adaptive dynamic programming and reinforcement learning.
