2015 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion | 19-20 Oct 2015

Power Electronics Chapter of the IEEE Malaysia Section is pleased to announce 2015 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON 2015), which will be held at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor Bahru on the 19th-20th October 2015. The conference is co-organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and technically co-sponsored by Korean Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE).

This year, we are honoured to have Prof. Pat Wheeler from University of Nottingham, UK and Prof. H. Akagi from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan as our keynote speakers.


The conference is now accepting technical papers until 15 May 2015.


Authors are invited to submit full papers describing original research. Areas of interest includes, but are not limited to the following conference tracks:


-Topology of power converters

-Control of power converters

-Multilevel inverters

-Electrical machines and drives

-Renewable Energy Systems

-Electric and Hybrid Electric Vehicles

-Power Electronic Applications in Power System

-Power Engineering Systems

-Energy Storage

-Application of power electronic in High Voltage Engineering

-Smart grid and its application

-Power Quality issues

-Education in power electronic

-High Voltage and Electrical Insulation Engineering


If accepted, your paper may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, once they meet the requirements of an IEEE quality review. IEEE reserves the right to not publish any proceedings not meeting these standards.


We are glad to inform that the previous 2014 conference proceedings are already included in IEEEXplore digital library and SCOPUS.
