2015 IEEE 3rd International Symposium on Robotics and Intelligent Sensors (IEEE-IRIS2015) & IEEE-RAS Malaysia Robotics Lab Award 2015 (IEEE-RAS Malaysia RoboLab Award 2015)
Oct. 18-20, 2015, Langkawi, Malaysia.
Theme “Robotics and Sensors: Technologies Enabling New Sustainable Lifestyle”
The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE-RAS) Malaysia Chapter is proud to once again organize the 2015 IEEE 3rd International Symposium on Robotics and Intelligent Sensors (IEEE-IRIS2015) at the resort island of Langkawi, Malaysia, from 18th to 20th October 2015.
This annual event is intended to provide technical forum and discussion related to research and technologies in robotics and sensors. The symposium is aimed to bring researchers, academicians, scientists, students, engineers and practitioners together to participate and present their latest findings, developments and applications related to the various aspects of robotics and sensors.
All submissions will be peer reviewed. All accepted papers will be published in Conference Proceedings and will be submit for publication in IEEE Xplore database (Scopus Indexed). Extended version of selected high quality papers will be promoted for publication in indexed journals such as Int. Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems (Scopus, ISI, IF: 0.579) and Int. Journal of Social Robotics by Springer (Scopus, ISI).
The organizer is also pleased to announce the IEEE-RAS Malaysia Robotics Lab Award 2015.
1) To recognize performance and contribution of research group/lab in Malaysia that involve in research and development activities related to robotics technology.
2) To serve as benchmark for excellence in robotics research in Malaysia and promoting robotics technology as one of the key technology in the nation priority area.
