Call For Participation & TUTORIALS ? IEEE ICSIPA 2013 (8-10 October 2013)

 

The 2013 IEEE International Conference on Signal and Image Processing Applications (IEEE ICSIPA 2013) will be held in Melaka, Malaysia on October 8- 10, 2013. This flagship conference of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (Malaysia) is held every alternate year and is a forum for academic, researchers and industry to share and gain information on the latest in the fields of signal and image processing.

 

The interesting keynotes to be presented at the conference include:

 

ñ K1 : From Pixels to Medical Imaging” by Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Fadzil M. Hani (Malaysia)

ñ K2 : Multi-object Systems and Their Applications” by Prof. Ba-Ngu Vo (Australia) 

 

 

The following pre-conference tutorials are scheduled to be held on October 7, 2013.

 

ñ T1 : Signal and Image Processing with SCILAB

ñ T2 : Multimedia Authentication over Noisy Channels

ñ T3 : Trends in compression, scalability and adaptive delivery of next generation visual media content

This year, the venue of the conference is the Holiday Inn Hotel in the Historical City of Melaka (Malacca), a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Malaysia. The city is a major tourist attraction in Malaysia and boasts of a wide range of activities for all ages, from historical ruins, cultural villages and museums, to water parks, zoo and a modern city.
