We are excited to invite you to the SEDA Innovation Challenge 2024, held in conjunction with the 2024 R10 Humanitarian Technology Conference (R10-HTC 2024). This challenge is organized by SEDA Malaysia with technical advice from IEEE KL Subsection and strategic partnerships with UTM, UCSI University, and Leave A Nest. We are calling on all innovators and visionaries to bring forward their transformative ideas in the energy sector.
Challenge Overview:
Are you ready to reform the future of energy? This challenge seeks innovative technologies and solutions in renewable energy, sustainability, and more. It’s an opportunity to showcase your groundbreaking ideas and win a total of RM15,000 in prizes!
Focus Areas:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Analytics: Enhance energy efficiency with integrated data analysis.
Internet of Things (IoT) & Blockchain: Boost energy system efficiency and reliability.
Smart GIS & Digital Twin: Optimize renewable energy locations for better resource efficiency.

Eligibility:
Open to Malaysian or foreign nationals residing in Malaysia.
Aged 18 years and above.
Background in engineering, technology, or related fields.
We encourage teams of 2-4 members to participate, focusing on scalability, collaborative spirit, and innovation. This is your chance to impact the energy sector positively and showcase your solutions on a grand stage.
Awards:
A total prize pool of RM15,000 is up for grabs across multiple categories:
Innovation Award: RM7,000 for the most groundbreaking technology.
Impact Award: RM5,000 recognizing solutions with significant positive environmental and social impact.
People’s Choice Award: RM3,000 voted by attendees for the most popular project.
